In the dying moments, pure elation broke out for Chelsea and interim manager Calum McFarlane as Enzo Fernández stabbed home a injury-time equaliser. The goal left Pep Guardiola ranting in frustration and handed the temporary Chelsea manager a career-defining moment. On paper, Guardiola versus McFarlane was the Premier League's greatest managerial mismatch, making the memory of Fernández's pivotal intervention one to warm the 40-year-old throughout his career.

A Stark Contrast in Experience

On the home bench was the era's defining coach, a man with an unparalleled CV for elite clubs Barcelona, Bayern Munich, and Manchester City, overseeing his 1,012th match.
